An Israeli air strike on the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis Six killed

An Israeli air strike on the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis killed at least six people and injured dozens, according to local officials. The strike reportedly involved six bombs hitting the hospital's courtyard and surrounding area. The Israeli military stated the target was a Hamas base allegedly located beneath the hospital. 

A BBC freelance journalist was among the injured but is in stable condition. The casualties were transferred to Nasser Hospital, which itself was hit earlier the same day. The strike caused significant damage, including craters and destroyed vehicles.

Israeli media reported the intended target was Mohammed Sinwar, a senior Hamas figure and brother of the former Hamas leader in Gaza.
